Mark and Deidre Smith
Grassroots Genetics incorporates a full-service semen sales and storage company, a Limousin consulting and marketing company, and Mark’s consulting, photography and ring service all under the same umbrella, Grassroots Genetics and Consulting. After 20 years in central Missouri, in November 2020, Mark moved the business to Maxwell, Iowa under the watchful care of Jay Steenhoek and crew at Nichols Cryogenics. Mark will be working with breeders as always, updating the company’s web site, packing orders and traveling to sales. We are very proud of the experience and loyalty that we are able to tie up under one roof and look forward to working closely with the many friends that we have made over the last 40 years in the Limousin business.
